Arriving in New Zealand from Liverpool in the UK, Tom set about making his mark on the club rugby scene. A strong and powerful ball carrier and ferocious tackler, opponents soon learned who to avoid. His leadership and no nonsense approach soon saw him become a fan favourite and the rapturous applause as he took to the field was a testament to his popularity at the club.
